1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using Family Capsule, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. Family Capsule is designed for adults and is not intended for children to use independently.
2. Your account and family circle
You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting your sign-in methods, and activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe access has been compromised.
Capsule owners control membership and important ownership actions. Invite only people you trust. A role may allow another adult to see or contribute family information, so review access regularly.
3. Your family content
You keep ownership of the stories, media, and family information you add. You grant Family Capsule a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and deliver that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
You confirm that you have the rights and appropriate authority to add the content, including information and images concerning children or other family members. Do not add unlawful, harmful, exploitative, or rights-infringing content.
4. Appropriate use
You may not misuse the service, probe or bypass security, access another family’s capsule without authorization, interfere with the service, distribute malware, scrape private content, impersonate another person, or use Family Capsule to exploit or endanger anyone.
We may restrict or end access when reasonably necessary to protect families, the service, or others, or when these Terms or applicable law are violated.
5. Care tools are not medical advice
Growth, medication, reminder, note, and other Care features are organizational tools for families. They do not diagnose, treat, or replace advice from a qualified health professional. Do not rely on the app for emergencies or as the only record of essential medical information.
6. Plans, trials, and purchases
Some features may require a paid plan. The offer shown at purchase controls the price, trial, billing period, included features, and renewal terms. Purchases are processed by the applicable app store or billing provider.
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled through your store account before renewal. Restore and cancellation options are governed by the applicable store. Features and limits may change with reasonable notice.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Family Capsule available and reliable, but the service may sometimes be interrupted, changed, or discontinued. Back up or export information you cannot afford to lose. Preview and beta features may be incomplete and may change before release.
8. Ending use
You may stop using Family Capsule at any time. Signed-in adults can initiate account deletion in the app. Owners can also manage capsule and child-profile deletion through Data & ownership settings.
Terms that by their nature should survive—such as ownership, responsibility, disclaimers, limits, and dispute provisions—continue after use ends.
9. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, Family Capsule is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
To the extent permitted by law, the operator of Family Capsule will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses caused by unauthorized family invitations, device access, or uses outside the service’s intended purpose.
10. Changes and questions
We may update these Terms as Family Capsule evolves. The updated date will appear at the top, and material changes may also be communicated in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
